Student Papers Competition IEEE (SPC) is one of the most important traditional programs held every year in three stages: local, zonal and global. In the first stage, interested students who are members of IEEE, expect students who are studying in PHD, send their papers to student branch organizer of the contest. The best papers will be send to IEEE region 8. Each student branch is allowed to send up to three papers for every 100 members. In the next step, chosen papers will be invited to one of the IEEE region conferences for oral presentation, their paper will be published during the conference and will be available from IEEE Xplore. At the end, the authors of three best essays will be honored and will be awarded with cash prizes.
IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
ISX (IEEE Spectrum Expedition) which aims to familiarize university students with up to date knowledge in Electrical Engineering, new technologies, obtaining ideas for new plans & projects, improving creativity & also the improvement of student’s ability to read English written passages & technical articles of Electrical major, will be held.
Every two weeks, an article of Spectrum magazine will be sent to the students by e-mail. At the end questions shall be set for the competitors and students with the highest scores will be rewarded.
